Crown Equine Veterinary Services operate from an office at Flemington Racecourse and a Equine Clinic based at Kings Park, Mornington, Victoria. We perform racetrack stable side veterinary service for trainers based at Flemington, Cranbourne, Pakenham and Mornington Racecourses in line with rules and regulations set out by Racing Victoria. We operate a 7 day a week service within stable open hours and regularly vet horses for sale at Inglis Oaklands Junction Complex. Dr Luke Campbell is in charge of Flemington Racecourse.

Kings Park Equine Clinic, based in Mornington, Victoria functions as a Equine clinic for horses requiring comprehensive lameness diagnosis or poor performance workups, as well as racehorse spelling, rehabilitation and pre-export quarantine (Dubai, UK, Japan, Singapore, USA). Kings Park has our central offices, large equine clinic treadmill, lunge arenas (soft and hard), trot up path as well as increasing box and yard size to accommodate horses with a variety of ailments. The rehabilitation centre works on allocating the right sized box, yard or paddock to the particular injury to hasten the recovery process. Standing Surgery also takes place at Kings Park Equine Clinic with epiglottic entrapments, tie backs and complicated wounds being treated and cared for there.

Sydney

Crown Equine Veterinary Services operates an ambulatory service from an office at Randwick Racecourse. We perform racetrack stable side veterinary service for trainers based at Randwick, Rosehill, Warwick Farm and Hawkesbury Racecourses in line with rules and regulations set out by Racing NSW. We operate a 7 day a week service within stable open hours and regularly vet horses for sale at Inglis Complex Riverside during their regular horse auctions. Dr Ben Mason is the partner in charge of Sydney.

Gold Coast

Crown Equine (QLD) operates an ambulatory service from an office at Gold Coast Turf Club Racecourse.   We perform racetrack stable side veterinary service for trainers based at Gold Coast, Hinterland, Beaudesert and Brisbane Racecourses in line with rules and regulations set out by Racing Queensland.  We operate a 7 day a week service within stable open hours and regularly vet horses for sale at Magic Millions Complex, Golf Coast during their regular horse auctions.  Dr Ilona Palmer is the partner in charge of Gold Coast.

Dr. Ilona Palmer is a distinguished equine veterinarian with over a decade of hands-on experience in the field. Graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2010, she immediately showcased her dedication by volunteering in Egypt, providing essential veterinary care to working Equids for 6 months.

Her journey then took her to Australia, where she became an integral part of the REC Equine Specialists team (formerly known as Randwick Equine Centre) from 2011 to 2022. During this period, she honed her expertise, particularly with racing and performance horses.

Dr. Ilona is renowned for her meticulous approach to lameness diagnosis, rehabilitation planning, radiography, ultrasonography, as well as her comprehensive pre-purchase and export examinations.

In 2023, family commitments brought her to the Gold Coast. Here, she continues to offer her unparalleled veterinary services, all while enjoying the beautiful Queensland climate. When she’s not in the stables you’ll most likely find her out for a run, or jumping over waves with her two young daughters.

Canberra

Canberra Racetrack and Equestrian Services operates an ambulatory service from an offices at Thoroughbred Park Racecourse and Canberra Equestrian Centre. We perform racetrack stable side veterinary service for trainers based at Thoroughbred Park and Queanbeyan Racecourses in line with rules and regulations set out by Racing NSW and ACT. We perform equestrian appointments every WEDNESDAY at Canberra Equestrian Centre. Dr Derek Wong is the partner in charge of Canberra.
